1. Cardiac Emergency Response Essentials
Participants will learn the fundamental principles of responding to cardiac emergencies. They will gain insights into recognizing the signs of a cardiac crisis, understanding the importance of a rapid response, and familiarizing themselves with legal considerations such as Good Samaritan laws. This foundational knowledge sets the stage for effective intervention in critical situations.
2. Life-Saving Techniques: CPR and AED Usage
Participants will dive into hands-on training as they explore the core life-saving techniques. They will discover how to assess the scene for safety, check for responsiveness, activate emergency medical services (EMS), and perform high-quality CPR on adults, children, and infants. Additionally, this section delves into the proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), including AED components, pad placement, and safe operation. By mastering these skills, participants will be well-prepared to respond confidently and effectively during real-life cardiac emergencies.
(6-10x attachments & assessment)
After successfully completing the classroom and pool sessions, the participant will be required to fulfill ten attachments under the guidance of a mentor and undergo an assessment.
Participants will have established a firm grounding in swimming instruction and will possess the ability to create and execute effective swimming lessons across various skill levels. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to join as a part-time coach at our affiliated swim school.
